U by Kotex* helped Break the Cycle of period shame by opening an honest conversation. Now, we’re giving 14- to 22-year-old young women the opportunity to redesign the boring, white feminine care category.

With patterns and personality on everything girls wear, why are their pads plain white? The Ban the Bland Design Challenge website seeks to change just that.

The core of the experience is an interactive design tool that lets girls make over feminine care by creating original product designs.  A fresh site design, including a gallery of submissions and rallying copy inspire girls to join the challenge. Three lucky winners will have a chance to collaborate with legendary fashion stylist Patricia Field to design future U by Kotex* products.

And everyone who enters, votes or shares an inspiration has helped color the future of feminine care.
