The Role

Our Associate Director, Strategy is an indispensable contributor who partners closely with our creative and technology teams to create impactful, innovative and measurable digital work.

Grounded in an in-depth and empathetic understanding of the business challenge, cultural trends, and consumer priorities, motivators and pain points, our Associate Director focuses on how to most effectively solve for experience gaps between today’s consumer experience and the desired future state.

About You

You have been doing this role your whole life. When you were a kid you pestered adults with “why’s” more than they could stand. In school, you probably excelled in ways that bucked tradition. And in your free time, you may be binging podcast like Exponent, Pivot, Why’d You Push That Button or Crazy Genius.

You are comfortable analyzing a variety of data-centric resources, hacking data, researching behaviors, looking at what people are doing and hypothesizing why.

You are someone who is insanely excited about their work and knows how to spread that enthusiasm.

You are hungry for responsibility and tired of slow, layered companies with rigid roles. You want to lead from the front. To set and drive a vision forward until it has an impact on the people who experience it.

You create for fun and want to have fun when you’re creating. You have a healthy skepticism of traditional advertising. Of traditional structures. Of traditional anything.

You’ll Need

  • An ability to make complex topics understandable
  • An eagerness to generate insights and ideas, but equally excited to roll up your sleeves to get the work done, alone or with others.
  • Experience in digital work – with an ideal focus on experiences people use (not ad campaigns)
  • An insatiable appetite to learn
  • At least 6-years as an all-around professional with exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change
